This guide has been created to help you feel prepared for your appointment, understand what to expect on the day, and know how to care for your makeup or hair afterwards.

IN-STUDIO APPOINTMENTS

(Makeup and/or Hair – Thurgoona)

Preparation for Your Appointment

Makeup

  • Exfoliate your skin 24 hours prior to your appointment

  • Cleanse your skin just before your appointment

  • Please arrive makeup-free with a clean face
    (A light moisturiser is fine)

Hair

  • Double shampoo your hair the day prior to your appointment
    (Shampoo twice, condition once)

  • Hair may be blow-dried or air-dried

  • Do not use straighteners, curlers, or styling tools

  • Please arrive with fully dry hair (If hair is damp, a drying surcharge may apply)

  • Do not apply any products after washing
    (All preparation products will be applied during your service)

After Your Appointment

Makeup Care

  • Avoid touching your face where possible

  • For touch-ups, use a pressed powder and stippling motion
    (light pats — do not drag the brush)

  • Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or excessive heat

  • If you cry, blot tears as they run down the face

  • Bring your own lip product for reapplication

  • Remove your makeup fully at the end of the day or event
